As per request of "the Principles" (Josh and Dan) we will be featuring שיעורים from different people exclusively recorded for Project Recharge and the rest of the עולם. The inaugural שיעור has been gracefully given by Rav Judah שליט''א on פרשת לך לך. We hope that these שיעורים will help us all grow in our עבודה in these "Not Pashut Times."
Due to the fact that there are a lack of comments on the last few post, we have figured our readers just don't know how to post. So Dick has kindly volunteered to put together and instructional video, that even the not so bright among us can figure out how to comment.
While in San Francisco, we made a pit stop in Oakland, to visit one of the גדולי הדור, a talmid muvhak of the Mashgiach, and Milgraum's twin (צריך עיון גדול). He kindly permitted us to video him delivering this important message.
You ever wonder what happens to those old אב בית do after they leave Reishit? Well we know Rav Judah became a רבי at Reishit, but has anybody heard about the others?
Recently while on a trip to LA a member of PR spotted Rav Arye Sufrin and snapped this picture and sent it to us.
Ah... So this is what אב בית do after the leave Reishit. Man do I want to be an אב בית. Looks like he's living the life... Fore!
Here's this weeks recruitment video submission, received from our buddy in ארץ ישראל, Chatzkel Rapps, brother to @Srulii. He is interested in joining us next summer, and thus sent in this video of him acting out a piece of Shakespeare. Now go and vote...
On behalf of the New School Draig it gives me great honor and pleasure in welcoming Mr. Keith Dumont to the חברה. It's great to see the members of Project Recharge continues to spread their light all over the world, complying with the Rebbes wishes.
"Ufaratzta - spreading forth without limits - means the breaking down of barriers, even when those barriers represent good and valid limitations. For example; extending beyond one's fixed time for Torah study; or giving more charity that Jewish law requires; or meditating on the greatness of Hashem for extended periods before, during, and even after prayer."- (Based on Likutei Sichos, vol. 1, p.168-170)
While searching through my extensive collection of Project Recharge videos, I came upon this one buried deep down in the archives. This video has the claim of being the first video ever taken of the members of Project Recharge, as official members of Project Recharge. This is the video that started it all...
During the tough economic times, it rough for us here at Project Recharge, to find the funds necessary to keep this blog going. We have thus gone out deep into the wilderness to find caring human beings who are willing to pay for ads, to be featured on the blog. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to any of our readers, it is for the better good of all of us in the long term.
Akiva Milgraum (Dale) has graciously volunteered to help his fellow brothers out and sponsor the next month of posts. For all those that don't know Akiva is a professional שומר for חתנים on their wedding day. His contact info and credentials can be found bellow.

It is brought down in many ספרים from many different תלמידי חכמים that there is a big ענין for each and every male Jew to drink two bottles of wine to bring in מר חשון. The מצוה מן המובחר is to drink wine but you can fulfill the מנהג by drinking two bottles of grape juice too. This is compared to the מצוה of ארבע מינים and therefore you should try to do הידור מצוה, and spend what you feel is fit to fulfill this great מנהג. May this ר''ח we merit to bringing of a גאולה שלמה.
Within minutes of posting about our new recruitment plan, we have received numerous videos from candidates for Summer 2010. It has been decided by the Project Recharge Board of Directors that we feature one submission every week. It is your job as the viewer to vote whether or not this candidate has a possibility of joining us next summer. So without further ado, here's this weeks candidate, who decided to create a theme song for Chip & Dale and their many adventures...
After countless people asking how they could be a part of Project Recharge Summer 2010, we have come up with a recruitment plan. All wannabe Project Rechargers (?) must send in a video of yourself doing something extremely ridiculous. This is due to the fact that every current member of Project Recharge is beyond ridiculous in his/her (Trudy) own way. At which point the videos will be viewed by our viewing committee and then voted on. Space is limited so get your videos in quick, here's one we've already recieved...
Today marks the 199 year since the passing of the great Chassidic leader and advocate for the Jewish people, Rav Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev. The Kedushas Levi was a close תלמיד of Rav Dov Ber of Mezritch, otherwise known as the Maggid of Mezritch. He is best known for his love for every Jew and his impassioned words of advocation on their behalf to the בורא עולם.
The חברה gathered only a few hours ago for our premier שמחתביתהשואבה, at the residence of the Margolis family, in-laws to our very own Art. The חברה in attendance included Art, Garth, Chip & Dale, Lenny, Timmy Tom Jr. III, Bob and Fred, on-top of a guest appearance from some of the members of the Stollel, Diller, Shneur Zalman, and the world-famous Mike Sohn. Other attendees included אלחנןשאולהכהן, Bernie, Brad, Doni Rawson, Elisha Saidoff, 'Nash the Bongoer, Randy, שמואלאהרון, מלךזימר, Reb Tzachi, Josh Schlessel, and David Solomon and Holy Brother Gidding. ֿThe night started off with a massive quantity of food being served, thanks to the Rebbetzin, which segwayed into a few נוגונים and a quick ריקוד. A תורה was given by Garth which led into more ניגונים. Of course the official Project Recharge ניגון, A Bagel and Cheese, was played, and taught to our guests. We were then privileged to hear some words from the Rebbe, Art and a very original thought from Dave Knoll. A strong ריקוד followed, with מעריב recited after its completion.
Of course Milgraum felt that the festivities needed some fireworks, due to the fact that we didn't have torches like they had in the times of the ביתהמקדש.
Milgraum couldn't overcome his urge to cannon-ball into the pool.
In the end a 'Texeria' time was had by all. We once again thank the Margolis family for hosting the event, and we look forward to many more gatherings over the next couple of months. Stay tuned...
Ed. Note: Stay tuned next week for a guest post by the חברה from ארץ ישראל about their adventures...
The חברה in the Holy Land sent me this video. The situation is Trudy (Keith) and Kirsch (Dick) decided to do a little קירוב and take the Chicken Hog out for breakfast, to try and have a little השפעה on him. This is what ensued when it was time to order...
We warned you, you should've ordered a bagel and cheese...
Ed. Note: More videos and pictures from the chevra in the Holy Land to follow upon their return...
While sitting in class reading a book about lucha libre I came up with a wild idea for the greatest wrestling match of all time. So without further ado...
"The Golden Nugget"
vs.
"Ram Jam Johnson"/"The Cheese Choker"
I'm thinking about making this one into a steel cage match. What do you think...?
